5th & 6th port actuator Tube?

Hey Everyone,

I tried the search and came up with nothing that can help me.

I am getting ready to rip off my old exhaust system and upgrade to a racing beat road race exhaust system from the header all the way to the mufflers. I have a few questions?

Can I remove my air Pump being that the presilencer from Racing Beat does not require the usage of the Air Pump and I will be eleminating all my cats?

If I do remove my air pump what size belt is going to replace the one that sits on the air pump presently to make up for the difference of the air pump being removed?

Where in gods name is the 5&6 port actuator tube located on the engine block? I have looked and still can not find it? Can somone help me out with this? I need to find it to hook that up to the new racing beat header.

Also my new oxygen sensor does not match up my OEM plug harness. Is it just possible to cut the wire for the Oxygen sensor and switch harness ends with the one off my old Oxygen sensor? Is there something special about the sensor wire or is it just a simple re-connect once its been cut?

Any help on this is much appreciated.

Regards,

- Anil Singh

the oxygen sensor can just be cut and wired to the exsisting wire. just be sure that you get a very good conection and crimp the wires together with some very high heat resistant shielding, cause the wire is fairly close to the exhaust.. ad will get very hot... as of the air pump ill let some one else chime in.

The aux ports are on the passenger side of your engine, roughly in line with the shock tower, and should be just under and past your flexible air intake tube

they look like this

Using the first picture that t90man posted, that little black hose is the actuator hose. I'm pretty sure the RB silencer has a hose for that, so, if you have an S4, yes you can remove the air pump. Be sure to remove the ACV too, as without the cats and air pump, its useless. Block it off with a plate and a gasket to ensure no leakage. Cap off any lines you expose, and you're done.

If you have an S5, you have to keep the air pump if you want the VDI to keep functioning.
