550 - 1600 CC injector setup( will these work)

Wondering if these Bosch 1600CC injectors would work as my secondaries.

I am running a haltech.

http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injec...MODS.asp#denso

There the ones at the very bottom on the left. Seems like a good price for the two of them at only $144.

Thanks

They should work, but that's a really big change. You might go to the haltech section and post there to make sure.

Yes, those will run fine, they will need to be modified if you wish to use a stock fuel rail..or you can mod your fuel rail to fit the larger injectors, or you can make a custom rail.

thanks, what does he mean by

"Then I cut out the green o-ring in the left picture above with an Exacto knife, and placed all the stock (replacement) seals and o-rings in their proper places"

What stock replacements? the little rubber piece used to seal it?

He means he cut the green o-ring off of the 1600cc injector and used stock o-rings from the rx7 injectors and placed them where they are suppose to go on the 1600cc injector.

I had the same setup on my TII. I had to have the secondary rail bored to accept the 1600cc injectors. Only hard time i had when tuning with those big injectors were in the transition when the secondaries kick in. The car hesitates.. My friend TURBOROTOR (Carlos) was able to smoothen out the transition but it still hesitated a bit.

I got my injectors from bruce at five-0 he sent me the chrysler brown top bosche 1600's. After doing some research, it turns out that the chrysler boshce1600's have the smallest minimum dudty cycle time out of all the bosche 1600's should make them a bit easier to tune, but right now, I have to get the wideband on the car cause its falling on its face at the staging point on the haltech, feels like to much fuel when they kick on.

I may end up going with Marren 1000's in the secondaries though, my buddy has 'em and the transition is smooth when the secondaries kick on.

Ted,,,, why can't it be a haltech????

Kinda leads me to wonder why Steve Kan said it would be easier to tune on the dyno with 1600cc Secondary injectors?

On an E6K, I've had zero problems tuning that combination.
On an E11(V1), it's a royal pain in the *** - that's why Haltech is taking them all back and replacing them with E11V2's.
I dunno about the E6X, cause I don't have any direct experience with them, but they should be similar to the E6K.

I know the Microtechs have a problem with very large staggers in primary versus secondary fuel injector sizes.

That's weird.
The E6K should be able to handle that combination no problem...
