5 lug swap question i have searched

Ok im in the middle of dooing my 5 lug swap on the fronts and need to know do i need the break line coming from wheel well to caliper or the brake line from engine bay area to wheel well?

Also can i run 5 lug up front with lug out back without changing the master cylinder for like 1 day?

can i run 5 lug up front and the old 4 lugs on the rear without changine the master cylinder for like 2days at most?

I havent got that far into a 5 lug swap but i wouldnt see that the hard line would be differnt..Id at least get the rubber lines in the wheel well..As for the master cylinder you should be ok.If your swapping five lugs solid rotors then id say that the master would be the same..The caliper were the same for the 86se to 91 coupe swap i just did..

The hard line is not different and can be kept. The flexible line that runs inside the wheel well would be needed. You can run on five up front and four on back if you don't have the time to do both at once. it took me about a day to do the entire swap, but I changed the rear toe bushings for DTSS eliminators, which took a long time. Doing just the five lug swap could take 4 hours or less.

you need to change it all considering the brake lines are diffferent sizes and so are the front calipers and rotors...also remember to take off the dust shield on the front or it will scrape since the rotor is an inch bigger on the 5 lug
