5 lug swap question
On my 87 base im dooing the 5 lug swap and i have a few questions. first i pulled off the front hubs and used a press to get the rotars off. but when i took of the hub u just pulled it off from spindal. is that fine do i just pull the one off my car and put this one over the spindal and call it good?
Secondly i am wondering if with the rear hubs do i just undo the nut holding the driveaxels in and the hub and rotar will just come off right? and thats all ill need for the back end or an i totaly wrong on the entire thing. lol.

If you are planning on using the 4-piston front calipers for better breaking.....then you need to swap the entire spindle assembly. Why? B/c the caliper mounts are different for the base model calipers and the 4-piston calipers.
front and rear
The assembly on the front is easier to get on-off than to swap the wheel hubs anyways. Look where the front shock bolts onto the car. Remove two bolts there. There is a cotter pin and crown nut on the tie rod end. Remove that. There is also a nut/bolt fastening the lower ball joint on if I remember correctly. Remove that as well. Unbolt caliper and remove it as well as the soft line connecting it to the hard line coming out of the fender well from the engine bay.
When all the appropriate nuts/bolts are removed, the whole assembly should move around while still sitting on the lower ball joint. Lightly tap it with a hammer (may need a little force, but usually not excessive) and it should come right off. Re-assemble the same way it came off.
The rears are similar, but 1 less bolt if I remember correctly.
