5-lug swap question...

5-lug swap question...

I feel kinda retarded for asking this, I know for a 5 lug swap you have to swap out the rear spindles so I looked in my haynes manual to see the assembly so I know what needs to come apart and there was nothing mention of a spindle, but a knuckle are they the same thing? If not would someone get a picture of one posted.

I think for the rear, you only need to change the rear hub/brake disc.

Spindle and knuckle are pretty much the same thing. But are front axle terminology denoting they turn, as in steering.

I am about to do a 5 lug upgrade too!! Any ways i believe you will need the whole hub. Because everything is press together or soemthing. But yeah tough luck buddy. Do you know by any chance if you would need a new master cylinder for the upgrade?? OH yeah to look at the factory manuel go here! http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/
