Angry new dash $736 HOLY CRAP

Well just a thread out to everyone i was looking for a dash for my 90 rx so i called mazda dealer holy crap they said a new dash would run $736 and thats without tax so you people that are finding dashes and crap for 20 or 30 bucks count your blessings.

That's cheap compared to a door panel. ~$500 from the dealer.

My friend found a perfect black dash for $75. You can find whatever you need for MUCH cheaper if you just look around the forums.

I just had a run in with the dealer in the same way. The "deal" they gave me was $230 for.....the 02 sensor. it was like 30 bucks at kragen.

in the car industry Mazda has long had the reputation of having the highest priced parts. Even Consumer Reports knocks them on it.

Yeah the stereo sirround is like $80.

The only thing I buy from them is thermostats($10-18)
Depending on the mood of the guy at the parts counter.
He usually hooks me up(don't know why/maybe he's trying to hit on me??)
