5/6 ports sticking open

i just got done swapping my s5 intake manifold in and while it was apart i cleaned out the 5/6 ports and greased them so that they rotated very smooth, now that its all together they open very easily by blowing in the vac line but they stick open. im trying to think of a way to make sure they are closing by puting springs on them or sumthing. has anyone else had this problem? i searched but couldnt find anything other than "clean them". does anyone have some sort of spring setup and if you do, do you have any pics. thanks, this is very agrivating...

what sort of grease did you use and where??? I would suspect either too much grease or the ports didn't get cleaned properlly

i used a small amount or assmbly grease and worked it all over to cover. the ports slide open vary easily, but they just barely stick like i can just tap the actuater and they release and close again. the weird thing is they both do it, i tried taking the actuaters off and puting them back on to see if they where just twisted or something but it didnt help

if that was it then it seams like it it would be hard to open too. like i said it opens easily and closes easily if i just touch it to get it out of the full open position. well regardless of whats causing it, does anyone have any ideas on a way to give it that little extra push to close it?

The ports are designed to operate dry. Any grease or oil will attract dust/dirt and cause them to stick.
