400+ hp vert on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-...QQcmdZViewItem

Ok my friend gave me the addy to it. I swa it and was like WTF siad he had $15000 in it and that isnt including the cost of the car. And he says it has 400+ hp and 25psi and drives it like that everyday. Is this even possible. I thought a 13bt could hold only 400 and that was on the most you could get out of it and that was pushing it.

yeah well some people are like that not spending $600 on a new one (or $150 on a rebuilt one from my website), But they have no problem spending $10K on putting a motor into a car.

I have 15k into my setup in my turbo vert and I have tons of **** thats broken. Also if Gaby tuned this car I would not even question these numbers. And if you didn't notice his engine is built and it appears he fully intended to build a fast car. He didn't skimp on anything it appears. It also looks like he is using a FD upper intake manifold or its a all out REW motor. Not sure but what I do know is their is no reserve on this auction and it would be a steal at anything under 9k. Where can you buy 400rwhp top down performance for under 10k? And yes more people are going with 17x8 and 17x9 mustang rims because they are cheap, light, and available everywhere. NO reason to drop 4k on some volks unless its a show car or you give a **** what people think.

now what I heard about a 13bt was that they could be tuned to 400 max reliably and that was posted on the forums not to long back on some thread. I thought it was somthing about the dowlpins or something like that. Oh well guess I was wrong.

spelling

its all comes down to tuning and tuning aids. If you have a piggy back and you are trying to get 400 on a 13bt it will not be as reliable at the same guy with full ems. Also with the new turbos out on the market along with other power/reliability aids the old "400" is now "500" and up. I think with the new line of turbos out from Precision and water/meth injection I would not be suprised to see 700rwhp sheets out of atleast 3 members of this 2nd gen forum.

I think three FC owners with 700rwhp is a little optimistic... not because a 13BT can't make the power, but because I don't think there are three FC owners willing to throw that kinda cash down! lol You would need a SERIOUS turbo, a TON of fuel, and a really good tuner. I would love to see the day an FC throws down that kinda power. You gonna be one of them Bukwild?

yeah I wish. We have a tuning day in the works with 3 FC going for 500. I am not sure if my PT67 is large enuff for 700. I will have to see what I can get with my 67, water injection, pump 93 for 20lbs. If that goes well I might get stupid and try 30lbs with water/meth injection because the kit I have in the mail does have 2 separate tanks for that reason. The guy who built my injection kit runs water/meth, 91 pump and 22lbs all day at the track on a 94 3rd gen. I have some fuel pump and pressure issues to still work out and buy but the funds are not a problem.

The seller is on the forum. Doesn't that ebay ID directly match a user's on here?

Nice, I know people have been putting down some impressive numbers with the PT67. How is the spool?

My 67 is not on the car yet. I am trying to get a street tune on my 89t enuff to get it to the tuning day. Don't want to try and boost tune a large t04 and blow up the motor. I have had alot of issues with my e6x to trouble shoot. Should have the bugs worked out and the 67 on by Sep15th.

Did anyone read that part where it says the car has 250Whp right now? Not 400+ like the title leads us to believe.
