uh no..

4 stroke oil is for the crankcase, 2 stroke oil is for combustion chamber lubrication.

The MOP injects crankcase oil into the combustion chamber...

Well, 4-stroke is what you have in your engine pan and what your MOP pumps into the intake manifold, but it isn't intended to be mixed with the fuel in the tank.

alright, let me explain a little further.

4 stroke oil was never designed to be used inside the combustion chamber, it will still lubricate in there but its protection properties are greatly reduced as well it leaves larger amounts of carbon buildup on the combustion faces in the engine. it's called 4 cycle oil because generally the piston rings protect it from the combustion chamber so it lubricates everything below the rings and ablove the valves. note i omitted the word rotor because it was never designed for rotary engines.

mazda uses the OMP system because they knew people would be too lazy or not read their owners manual to know that they would need to put 2 stroke oil into a reservoir anywhere on the car. the OMP system works but nowhere near as well as premixing or using a 2 stroke oil that was intended to be used under those conditions.

Hehe. but seriously.. its pretty easy. You just drill/tap a hole into the omp housing, plumb a nipple up to a 2cycle bottle (which I found a couple good atv ones off ebay with sensors and all), then block off the oil passage to the crankcase between the pump and the front cover. You have to keep the thing spinning from the front cover gear though. So, thats the tricky part.

There's a couple threads on it though. Search and you shall find.

sounds too complecated for the likes of me at the moment. I'll keep to the simple stuff, like n/a->turbo conversions, or electric port acuation via rpm switch. I was hoping there would just be a conversion to the oil pan oh well. :p

I joke I joke. sorry about the confusion I just don't see that much of a benifite to go over to a 2 stroke oil... not yet anyways.
