Question 4 questions about removing "stuff"

#1. The ABS pump was disconnected when I bought the car. Tonight I took the pump out and now I have two big white plastic connections hanging there. Can I just unplug the fuse and be done with it? Is there anything else that should be removed or unhooked? I don't know why the PO left the pump in if it was disconnected.

#2. I'm about to remove the ACV and BAC. Is there anything special to be done to the electrical connections going to them?

#3. There are 3 vacuum lines going into the ACV. Can I remove the lines completely and whatever is on the other end or is this too hellish, just cap them in place?

#4. What do you do with the coolant lines passing through the BAC?

That'll work...

Nope, this is for your 10AE, right?

Remove them - I believe one goes to the air pump (gone?), one goes to the relief silencer in the passenger corner of the car, and the other goes to the main cat?&nbsp Whatever the case, they can all be removed.

#4. What do you do with the coolant lines passing through the BAC?
You can either bypass it or reroute.&nbsp Did you do a throttle bod mods?&nbsp If so, then you can run the coolant line from the top of the back of the rear engine iron straight across into the fitting in the water pump housing rear.

Yup, for 10th AE. Airpump is removed.

The 2 of vacuum hoses go on to this little steel mount with nipples for a couple of hoses... they all go in between the firewall and the engine. In the FSM they appear to go to solenoids on the drivers side of the engine bay... are you sure those are the ones I can just remove? most people said to cap them but if they go to solenoids not doing anything, might as well ditch those too...

No throttle body mod yet. I'm just learning and sticking to the simpler things: pulling **** out. :-) my cats were hollowed when i got the car last fall and a thunderfabrications mid/down pipe is going on shortly.

thanks Ted, you are always on the ball.

Oh yeah, those smaller hoses, cap them just in case - they could cause an intake leak.&nbsp The larger hoses coming off the ACV - just yank those.
