4 piston caliper clips quick question

i have a set of 4 piston calipers and i only have one of the brake pad clips per caliper. i thought there was supposed to be two, but am i wrong? i have hawk HPS pads. i put the pads in with the "bars" through the pads and the one clip. the pad kind of slides forward still but i dont know if itll be a problem when i have the caliper on the car. do i need two? if so, where can i buy the clips. any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks

I am not sure about that I have two per side on mine but I have tons of parts lying around. You can get a front hardware kit at almost any parts store.

Do you mean the pad spring? If so on the four pots there are two pad springs. You can get them at just about any part store.
