3rd gen front cap on 2nd gen

I love the way this car looks. Does anyone have any info on it? I have searched and can't find anything. I think it would really look good on my Turbo convertible.

I cant tell if the hood is a custom 2nd gen basic hood or if it's a 3rd gen hood that the mounts and other dimensions have been modified. I know the fenders were spliced (or molded of fiberglass) over the front wheels, but I'd like to see some under the hood pics to see how it was braced, and what kind of bumper re-bar is under there. Thanks for any info.
Don.

Dude, that guy is selling a bumper replacement. I want to do this to my car. I don't want to know where someone else posted these pics. That's where I found them in the first place. I hope you're not buying that bumper hoping it will look like this. This isn't just a bumper. This car has 3rd gen headlights and hood lines that look like a 3rd gen. The fenders have been chopped and merged. The front bumper is a 3rd gen fitting. I want info on this car or one like it.

Unfortunately roaming Japan isn't an option these days. I don't really have time for that.

Yeah, I checked out RotaryJapan, and the site is cool, but I don't speak Japanese... I guess I could try to e-mail this guy. I was hoping that someone had some other pics of the car or some info. The car looks so cool.

Use the babel fish translator on altavista. Type in what you want to say in english than translate it too japanese. cut and paste it into anemail message than send it to him. when you get the email back just translate it to english.

Well yes, obviously its just a bumper replacement, if you think you can do this 3rd gen front clip for $500 then your living in a dream world. Anyone could perform this, any knowledgable body shop can mold 2 pieces of metal together... But it all comes down to how much do you want to spend, cuz i sure know im not gonna pay some guy $3000 to make the front half of my car look like a 3rd gen. Im not tryin to look like a third gen, (if i was, i would just buy one), i just want a good looking bumper.

InitialD,
I think maybe you've misunderstood me. I don't have a problem with your product. I think it's great (except the slit in the middle ). Don't get defensive. I'm not in a dream world. It's just that FC3S.org told me to go to your site and buy one. You're not selling what I want. As my reply would indicate. I know it's gonna cost much more than $500. You are obviously confused about what I'm trying to do. It has nothing to do with your product. I just saw these pics while reading a thread.
I want to see how this was done, and see if I can figure out how to do it. I'm building a car to showcase my work, so that's why I want to do something totally different, not buy someone else's product.
Chill out.
Don.

A kit like that would be pretty cool. It looks like just some custom fenders and an FD hood and front end. Someone should make a kit like that where you get the custom fenders and then you can use any FD front end and hood that you want. Then I could be rolling in my '99 spec FC!
