APEX seals. A'pexi is a brand name for riceware.

They're good for '74-85 engines which require them, and not much else.

Riceware? Are you saying the S-AFC and AVC-R are rice accessories?

The fact that AFC and AVC R are actually useful pieces of equipment doesnt take away from the fact that Apex'i is an all-in-all rice praised company.

Uh, ricers can afford (and tune, AND use) stuff from them? I thought ricers were the guys that made their cars look like they were fast, when they really aren't.

You'd be surprised how much money ricers can spend Most of 'em have new cars which are not cheap. It's not that they have no money, it's that their priorities and taste are out of whack

most people here are always raving about how good the apexi N1 exhaust sounds, and that the apexi intake is the best one, just over priced. apexi doesnt make coloured bulbs or altezza tail lights or neon air filters. its all in the name of performance. just because some ricers might use apexi products, doesnt make apexi a ricer brand. i dont own anything by apexi and probbably never will, but i would consider it to be a higher-end performance brand.

Hm, ricers around here don't buy that stuff. They buy 1. stickers 2. picnic tables for their trunks, and 3. altezzas. Oh yeah, and giant wheels. Plus, there is a lot of "american" rice; mustang V6s, focuses, and grand ams.

Funklord is right, they make serious stuff, I mean, how many people run S-AFCs here? lots. I have an Apexi N1, and I'm quite happy. it was very clean, and it was built very well (you should see the welding on it).

Again, its still a name associated and sought after by many a rice boy. There are several ricers in my town that have S-AFCs in ther car and nothing else...they like the little blue screen.

Nobody has questioned the validity of the products, we only stated that, like it or not, Apex'i is one of the most popular rice name brands. Does that make it bad? not at all...Im putting an AFC in my car as well...just not the accompanying stickers
