394hp and 321lbs/tq

Hey fellas, I was at a dyno session today...Car was tuned to 17psi.

My best pull was 394hp and 321tq at 17psi.

I just recently purchased this set-up from Reese whose motor was built by BDC.

What's funny is the motor has low compression and a failing turbo.

I can't complain, I was the dyno king today.

if you got this from Reese it should be a half bport then. I would say that good number for a t04. im sure your boost was falling off on the big end.

Yes, very good numbers for the turbocharger used. I'm quite impressed... 11sec territory. I'm concerned, however, about the 'low compression' issue.

If it was built by me, then it is his RE motor. He flew me out to his place and we did this motor almost a year ago. Reese never got to do much with it because of other committments as well as issues with his Haltech getting repaired & wiring harness being re-done, etc. With that said, I'm not sure where the low compression comes from so it bothers me quite a bit. We put alot of work into the setup. Here's some pictures of it:

I do Haltech tuning in my area (in Tx) but I've got gobs of stuff available up on the web if you need them, Mike.

http://bdc.cyberosity.com/haltech

Use at your own risk. Shoot me an email if you need anything specifically.

Talking

Nooooooo......

O.K.. guys maybe I posted the info wrong....

Reese still has his motor...I was just referring to him, because I bought his turbo from him...Reese has upgraded his turbo set-up.

I was trying to say he sold me his T04 set-up with all the goodies. I was able to make that HP with that set-up.

The car was tuned at Rotorsports Racing, in Kannapolis.
By Bryan Smith. www.rotorsportsracing.com

And yes BDC...I do have a low compression problem...remember we talked about it.

Sorry for the late reply.

Neal

That's what I was thinking, so I re-read your post and wanted to clarify. I was thinking, "Damn, I just talked to him the other day about his car!". haha, lol

That intake manifold looks like it came from a 3rd gen. Is it also ported?
Very nice.
