Question 2stroke OMP adapter or premix

I have a megasquirt on my car and I was wondering if I should go with premix or OMP adapter. It seems like premix would throw off the tuning of megasquirt since you dont know how much oil is going in.

I also have an aftermarket throttle body and intake manifold so.. If I decide to go with the adapter, I cant remember what the top of the oil nozzles go to,will I be all set if I put a nipple on it or plug it it?

the adapter you speak of, is that the separat 2 cycle engine oil rez just for the combustion chambers?

you know who makes a good one?

i was wanting to do the external oil system for the omp for my t2 swap.

although im sure you can calculate the ratio and program the squirt to compensate, for what ever reason. im really not so sure it would throw it off that much.

sounds like a thread for the engine managment forum to answer.

good luck!

Well, if you don't mind putting in 2cycle oil in your tank at every fill up, go premix! You can block off your oil injector holes, and your OMP spot on your front cover. Premix is more reliable in the sense that if your OMP dies, your engine won't. You won't be able to lend your car out to anybody without being able to trust them to put it in. If they don't..... its bad.

The top of the oil nozzles? They go to the solenoid valves on the drivers side of the engine I think...
