2nd gen oil cool line lengths
I need to know the length of the two oil cooler lines. I am going to put a 2nd gen cooler in an FB and I want to see if the 2nd gen lines will reach.
Thanks!

If they don't fit.... heres a parts list to make it fit..
3 10-an 90 degree fittings.... Summit brand 3X15.98 (earl's are 19.88)
1 10-an 45 degree fitting (front cover)..... summit brand 15.95 (earl's 18.88)
2 3-ft sections of an-10 hose..... Summit Brand 2X16.95
3 18mmx1.5 to 10 an adapters No summit brand, Earl's 13.39
1 16mmX1.5 to 10-an adapter (front Cover) no summit, Earl's 13.39
Thats 166.28 for the ear's fittings (worth it)....
And 151.26 if you use the summit fittings.
Mazdatrix sells hose kits for each car, but not a combo job like you are going to do, so this way.. if the FC hoses don't fit... you can still make it work and have a trick setup in the end!!!!

And pay out the butt for it! No thanks, I'd rather buy a 79-82 parts car and take the whole radiator/support/oil cooler assembly. Thanks though
Surely someone has a peice of string and 10 minutes?

I have a piece of string. I even have a tape measure. I also have both sections of oil cooler line hanging on the wall in the garage. I have also measured and posted the length on this forum before. But, like you, I have better things to do than take ten minutes out to measure them again....since you don't have time to search the forum for this answer.
Also, look, man, I don't mean to waste anyone's time. I did try searching, but I couldn't think of any way to refine the search down enough without being too specific that it misses since there's so many ways to ask and state the length/how long of 2nd gen/FC/2gen/secondgen oil cooler hoses/lines. See what I mean?

Why would I have gone to that thread if I'd just done that search? There wasn't any reason to expect it to include the lengths of the lines. Hell, the guy who posted it didn't even ask about it.
Edit: anyway, I'm sure it's easy for you two guys with 18,000 posts between you, in this very forum, to jump on me, but give me a break. Of course I'm not as familiar with this forum as you guys. I think I've tried pretty hard not to be rude.

A little background: This day a fellow had a problem with installing a JDM turbo in a non turbo. He asked questions about the harness. I went to the trouble of looking in the series five fsm to compare the pinouts for the turbo vs the non turbo. I wrote back and explained what little he would have to do to make the na harness work in the turbo. About five posts later he made some remark asking if I were a **** salesman with a load of my product in my mouth. So, you see, I really have a lot of self control, especially if you read the reply I made after that remark. Not one harsh word, just some info on why his engine won't start. I'm a bloody saint.....if you ask me.

I won't be as nice.
You're a dumbass.
You asked for help, and a suggestion was made for a search.
You scoffed at the reply, stating you couldn't get the search to spit out the correct answer(s) for you.
I did a search and managed to find the answer within 5 minutes.
So either you are too lazy or too stupid to do a *proper* search to use keywords effectively or both...

Well, you're a pathetic ******* with nothing better to do than insult people for no good reason.
I'm sure if I had 11,000 posts on this forum, I could find anything I wanted by searching for the word "the."
