2nd Gen Forum PRAISE thread!!!!!

Hello to my fellow 2nd gen'ers... This here is my Praise to all of you for being so F*ckin Kick *** lol... ive owned an fc since 1999 and wouldnt have been able to do it without you guys!!! my first car was a beater 87 N/A i got for $1200 bucks, which in fact wasnt a beater!! after buying it and MAD amounts of searching on this forum, i found TONS of stupid little things that were wrong with the car.. bad tps, multiple vaccum leakes, clogged stock Cats and much more... in the end, the car showed 100 compression all the way around both rotors and ran like a dream!! i drove it 3 summers then sold it for $4000 to a friend... after making 2500 bucks off the car and the little bit of money my broke 18 year old *** managed to save, i found a car on a Build thread here on the 2nd Gen forum... it was an 89 Base model with a full t2 swap, brakes, 5 bolt, tranny, diff, harness, even mirrors and hood... i paid $3500 dollars for it, he let it go cheap cause he was in a butt F*** of a town 2 hours east of toronto in canada.. I took a Bus 36 hours to his place, bought the car and drove it home!!! it was the greatest 26 hours of my life since purchasing it 9 years ago, i put 90 000 miles on it!!!!! 25000 of those miles were Time Attacking and ripping it on open track days.. thanks to all of you great people who are WAY smarter than me, i learned all the basics of rotary maintenance, learned what to mod, what NOT to mod and what will help the car perform to its highest potential... on stock ports, a stock turbo, a 3" straight pipe and the waste gate ported as big she can go i ran a 13.01 @ 15.9 mph in the 1/4 mile the one day i decided to drag it to know how fast she would do it..... last month after 9 YEARS of Beating on her *** she spit an apex seal on the rear rotor .. which was ok with me, cause i wanted to over haul her anyway!!! last year, because im addicted i bought an 87 t2 and Put a fresh rebulit s4 block with a large street port in it.. i have a 60-1 garret t4 with a p trim on it, custom manifold, external waste gate and a 3.5" straight pipe on it!! r-tek 2.1 and all other supporting mods... injectors etc... well we finally got everything tuned up nice (thanks to all of you for the help) and my buddy who is a retired mazda mechanic ... and F*ck me Running... this car HAULS ***!!! its only Wide band Tuned at the moment, im on a waiting list to dyno tune it cause in Winnipeg Canada dynos and people who know what they are doing are SLIM!! there is only one person i can take it to, and hes BOOOOKED SOLID.. it might just have to wait till next year ... either way what im getting at with all of this is, Ive gone from a Punk KID with a POS NA to a 29 year old with S5 and S4 turbo cars with NO Mickey Mouse bull S*it on either of them ANYWHERE.. I will be putting a cage in one of them for raod racing and the other will be a time attack car!!!! my S5 is being Rebuilt as we Speak, small street port with a bnr stage 2 so i can keep the stock mani.. ive had the privelage of ICEMARK (may he rest in peace) posting his opionion on my threads as well as the other legends of the rx7 club, such as Aaron Cake, Re-Ted and many others you know who you are ... this forum has probably made me 10 grand over the past 13 years and made me a MUCH smarter person in general not just with rx7's.... thanks again TO ALL OF YOU, even the bitchy snobs who are just out to flame the NOOBS... sometimes its hilarious and it makes my daY

Are you the guy that posted a long time ago using rhymes for all of your replys?

If so, that was awesome!

If not, I am glad the forum has helped throughout the years.

You sound alot like me, I bought my first NA in 2004 and now I've got a s4 t2.

I'm 30 almost 31, man these cars are addicting aren't they? I've never had the passion, motivation, and commitment to work on anything like I have on this car.

10 years, 285 posts. You must have learned a lot from lurking and searching. I think that's an awesome testament to how capable searching and reading can solve your problems versus asking a question without searching.

YOU SEE THAT NOOBS! THE SEARCH FUNCTION WORKS!

I will agree that since I have been here I can tell a great level of comradely among 7 owners, particularly FC owners such as myself, on this forum. Makes it nice to search for my problems.
