Talking 2nd gen exhaust gasses danger to nature!!!!

k guys i always crank my car up before i go somewhere in the morning and let it sit for about 5 min to warm its sexy self up.... well today i went to crank the car and went back inside for a few min to come back out and find this new scenery behind my car... ive removed my cats and charcaol canister and damn it stinks sometimes but didnt know i could do this lol .... this was not there when i cranked the car either... maybe it was under the car or somethin and just choked, it amazes me but im sure there is a more logical explination lol

stinky car exhaust causes decrease in small animal population

Nice! lol

I remember my car when I did something like that. I had my 13BT engine in and was running it to see if it was okay after I chunked the cat, so it was straight DP. I went down the road for 15 minutes to help a dude with his stalled car. I came back up and went in the garage and my eyes stung like mad. You just could not go in there without a respirator

That's completely unnecessary. Simply a waste of gas. Start the car, let it idle for 10 seconds, then drive away.

Just be sure not to get on eht throttle to hard, and try to keep the revs low until its fully warmed up.

You killed that poor little bird!!!!

I know what you mean by stinky exhaust, i have no emission or "smell good" helpers connected to my engine/exhaust system, Not sure if anyone else with a completly non street legal car notices but my car sort of smells like a lawn mower or go-kart. Maybe it's the premix?

bahh well, many other cars out there run emissions less and "cat" less too...

I know what you mean. I think its the premix. The other thing it reminds me of is the Austin-Healy my dad use to own.

well i always like to warm it up some before going somewhere... i at least always let the oil pressure fall to 30psi at idle and then go, ever since i did a tune up it only takes about a minute to go to 30 psi and the car is so weird to drive when its flat out cold

Aaron, I disagree with you on this one-the aluminum rotor housings heat up/ expand at different rates than the cast iron side housings- you want to at least give 'em enough time for temp equilibrium during a cold start.

Way back when I installed the rb exhaust i tightened everything up and then it settled back the next day so the dp to resonator flange was a little loose and just poured fumes up in through the passenger window in my garage, I thought my eyeballs were going to burn out of my head
