Pardon me if i'm wrong or if this question has already been addressed, but what would i need to do to convert an older 2nd gen to the 89-91 body style. I don't really like the black molding going down the side of the car, so how could i go about replacing that to make it look identical to the newer 2nd gens?

Replace the front and rear bumpers, the rear tail lights, the door moldings, and front and rear fender moldings.

If you're only interested in the color of the molding, you can paint it. I think that the front end of the S5s is so much nicer that it warrants changing all of the moldings, though.

 

Diddo on painting the trim. Changing to the round tail lights would be good.

 

yup easy job too...paint em and pur on the round tails.
