2nd gear question

hay guys i was just wondering can i get my 89gtu to 60 in second? or is it not even woth trying. friend that has a ford probe says i cant.....and i cant drive right now.....it hass ezhaust and intake....is 60-65second gear posible

I could do 70 in my vert when the buzzer went off. You should be able to do 60. I don't know if your gearing is different.

gtu has 4.30 gears, right? if so then that would explain the not being able to hit 60 in second.

i wish i had 4.30 gears, its better for accleration.

u can hit 70?? i can hit 60 when the buzzer goes off, is urs a S5? maybe i should go out n drive my vert n check on when the buzzer does go off

GTUs had 4.30s
All manual tranny cars have 4.10s
All automatics have 3.90s

i can hit 70 easy in second but my car was an auto before now its an 5-sp with the 3.9 lsd.

i dont really understand the gearing ratio thingy...but is it the larger the gearing the ratio the faster the acceleration?

think about it, can you accelarate faster in 1st or 5th? if its a higher number it means its more like 1st gear, lower numbers are more like 5th gear. realy bad explanation but whatever

i dont think ive ever heard my buzzer go off? i think ive redlined few times now. i dont hear any annoying buzzer. i wanna see my top in 2nd.

Who the **** cares what someone with a damn probe says your car can do? WTF's the point of saying something like that anyway? It's not like it really matters much... Is this the new way to bash cars or something? Oh I can do 90 in 2nd gear, takes me all month to get there but I can! WTF!

I can do 65mph at redline in my GTUs, which means any rx7 should be able to do it quite easily.

lol, so when one of your oil cooler lines breaks and ur low on oil.....u wont know ur depriving ur engine of oil cuz u took out the buzzer ^^^

that buzzer saved me when my oil lines broke, now theyre SS lines =D
