2G Swap or 3G?

Ok I have an '86 RX-7 GXL and it's just too slow. So I was thinking of doing a TII engine swap (don't tell me not to, if I could find a TII I'd have bought it instead of the GXL), but I was thinking, the 3G's are really pretty, why not get one of those? What are the real differences as far as performance goes? I know the 3G's are pretty and an FC would never be as beautiful, but it'd also be cheaper..so what do you guys think?

Swap in the 13BT (2nd gen) not the 13B-REW (3rd gen). It's a LOT easier and you can get similar power levels...It's also a direct bolt in...

I wasn't referring to a 13B-REW swap, but buying the whole 3G RX-7.
