240 Silvia vs. Tii RX-7??

Just wondering who will win here. My friend got a 240 with silvia engine (S13) with exhaust, intake, but I don't know how much boost he's hitting, the engine was freshly installed and no boost gauge yet. Also my other friend has a 88 Tii with free flowing 2.5" exhaust (no muffs or cats), all emissions controlling equipment taken out, and he's hitting 10PSI (and that was on a hot day).
My friend with the 240 says he's got 205 horses or more
Is that tru? I remember seeing a 240 at the track with the same S13 engine getting low 14's. TIA

Jus let them race....and that way u will get your answer.....but it sounds like it might come down to the drivers....proper launch, shiftin....etc.....which goes back to what i said before.....'Jus let them race'

Ok...Ive seen this going around, and its REALLY pissing me off.

There is NO SUCH THING as a "240 Silvia"

As for your question, Ive ridden in a SR20 powered 240 running 1.1bar and its not as fast as my TII running ~9 psi. BTW, the TII hit 215 RWHP on 9psi

EDIT: I should probably also add that the SR motor that is in this specific 240 has been ragged on an imense amount and seen its fair share of knock and 1+ bar boost runs.

by silvia motor i guess you mean an sr20det or something other than the ka

I think that it would be pretty close, like other guy said, and might come down to driver.

Yea, a stock SR should be hitting mid to low 14s. With I/E id say hes in the really low 14 range.

The SR20 swap also implies the S13 is running no cats, unless you can claim otherwise?

Both cars will be about equal.&nbsp At this stage, it's really driver's skill that's going to predict the winner; they are within 0.5 second of each other in a 1/4-mile drag race.
