more than half of california is still smog exempt, except most towns still have to smog in within their county jurisdiction. you used to be able to use a PO box but most state governments found too many people using that bypass, even nevada now requires proof of residence.

 

This is the reason why im staying old school; pre-76 remains smog test exempt lol

Im not concerned with the roadside rolling smog machines since i have the supporting docs that my two RX-3s are not daily driven and they look stock.

 

even with pre-76 vehicles there is still a law stipulating it must not be swapped and retain all factory emissions equipment.
