2000 rpm bucking

this doesnt really bother me bc my car rarely sees low rpms, but i was just wondering why my car bucks when i go below 2000 rpms? i cant really describe the bucking its just odd.

Because that's how manual transmission cars with low torque work... they don't like driving in low-gear with low throttle.

My engine did it because of an out of adjustment TPS. Easy fix if you have a multimeter.

John Deere offered a rotary engine in farm tractors back in the 60's or 70's I believe. It was an option for a grand total of a year or two, because they simply did not have the torque to take a hit and keep themselves running.

The 13B is no different, these are not torque monster cars.

It could be a vacuum leak. Under higher airflow a leak will typically make less of a noticeable difference.

I have that problem at exactly 2200 rpms, and it's only noticeable in first and second gear. My TPS has a giant dead zone on it so that's obviously the cause of it for me atleast. There's a really simple schematic in the faq section for building a calibration circuit for the tps using two leds and like a resistor.

TPS adjustment is absolutely the most sensitive and critical adjustment above any other. Usually within 1/2 turn of the adjustment screw, that's how close the tolerance is.
