200 miles on full tank (TII) Is this the norm?

Damn. I used to get anywhere from 350-400(Highway) to a tank. Not sure what I got in the city.

I want to get 300 mpg too!
I'm gonna have to buy an RTEK 1.8 if you get that kind of mileage!

Usually only get low 200s. 12psi on stock turbo, FMIC, supra pump, 720 secondaries.
If its cool out and I drive carefully (aka, keep eye on wideband to make sure its in closed loop) I can get like 22 mpg highway, but its usually closer to 18-20 mpg.

Claiming "200 miles" on a "full tank" doesn't tell us jack ****.
US-spec FC's have different sizes gas tanks depending on year...
If I got 200 miles on a "full" tank, it would considered normal as I fill up anywhere from 13 - 14 gallons, and that comes out to just about 15mpg.
My typical "full tank" gets around 170 - 180 miles, so 200 is actually a little high.
You also don't describe how you drive, or what kinda of driving you do...
If it's almost 100% city or stop-n-go driving, your mileage is just about right.
Really, I dunno how much better gas mileage you're expecting?
Why don't you give us a MPG number rather than how much miles you're getting per tank?
City driving should be right about 14 - 15mpg.
Mixed 50/50 (with freeway) should be in the 17 - 20mpg.
If you're doing majority of freeway driving, it starts to climb over 20mpg easily.
If you're doing almost 100% freeway driving, then this is where it starts to climb over 25mpg.
Of course, these numbers reflect that you "drive like grandma", as once you start to mash on the gas pedal, (gas) mileage gets thrown out the window...
Can we please stop the gas mileage threads now???
These engines are not gas mizers, and they should not be driven as such!
If you're worried about gas efficiency, please go get another car!

^ word. I dont care what the milage is, as long as i can mash. What did people expect to get for mileage? more importantly, why are milage conscious people driving 7's? its a 20+ year old sports car. Driving the car for efficiency all the time isn't good for it anyway. To me, its like sigfreid (sp) and roy bitching about being attacked by the tiger. Its the nature of the beast. You cant go fast without gas.
