2 wheels on one hub

My right rear caliper got stuck so I had to rebuild it. This is what was behind the wheel. Look at all that metal.

Is this just showing the massive wheel spacer, or a question on what it is? (wheel spacer)

Yeah, not sure what the OP's question is, or the point of the post, but that is one huge freaking wheel spacer!

I have always gone by the general rule of thumb, no more then 1/2" spacer, after that, need to get different offset wheels, as there is too much leverage with the wheel on the hardware of the spacer
