2 Stoke Oil in the fuel?

Can someone explain the concept behind this? How it's done and if it has any adverse effects on the car?

It lubricates the apex seal better. I think there is no effects, its just that you have to put it in every time you gas up if you do the 2 stroke mod. Search if you want to know more. there is a search button up there.

Your car already injects oil into the chambers via the OMP (Oil Metering Pump)- assuming it's intact and functional.

This is why the oil level in the sump slowly goes down (approx. 1 Qt. every 1000-3000 miles), the oil is getting burned by the engine.

Some folks prefer to premix 2-stroke oil in the fuel instead, reasoning that the 2-stroke oil burns cleaner and the delivery is foolproof- if the car is getting fuel it's also getting oil.

If you decide to premix, the OMP must be disabled.
On a S4 it can simply be removed, a block off plate installed and the ports plugged.
On the S5 it can be blocked off but the pump must be left plugged in...the ECU will go into limp mode without it's signal.

Just search "premix" to read the wide ranging debate on the pros and cons of this approach.
