2 fuel rails?

do these crazy machines have 2 fuel rails?

to clarify i have an 89 FC vert, and i have narrowed my starting/running problem down to either fuel or ecu, that being said, i found at least one and probably 2 injectors that are bad just from visual inspection, but anyway back to the question, i took off the throttle body, and fuel rail, then removed the top two injectors. then pulled the intake manifold, and got to the two on bottom...is that a second fuel rail that is over the bottom two? or does it have a different name...it needs replaced whatever it is, also could anyone direct me where to geet good injectors, and the preformed vaccuum lines, and whatever that rail is. for reasonable cash?

Yes they do. They have primary and secondary fuel rails with injectors.

you have one rail for the primary injectors, one rail for the secondary injectors. iirc, the top is primary, bottom is secondary, but i could be mistaken :/

yes that is a second fuel rail, actually the smaller one down low is the Primary fuel rail and the bigger one thats on the intake is the secondary. im not sure what exactly you are asking. you can look in the for sale section around here to get an idea of what you can get one for. I am not trying to flame, but i would also strongly suggest reading the FAQ as well as locating a Factory Shop Manual and reading it. there is a FREE pdf version in said FAQ. These cars aren't the most complicated thing out there but you WILL mess something up if you don't know what you are doing. ask me how i know. Good luck.

sweet... i guess two ppl answered in the time i was writing this

thanks. and i know my way around a typical motor, and just using a little common logic, i have diagnosed this problem, and am well on my way to fixing it...i was just making sure that what i was looking at was indeed another rail. and i was wondering where to get the smaller rail, (primary i suppose) the preformed vacuum lines because mine are hard and old, so since i have it apart i want to replace them, and injectors.

I don't think the vacuum lines are preformed, they just look like it from age. When I did my engine swap I replaced all of them as well, I just used straight vacuum line and cut each one to length. Took a while to do the entire engine but it's worth the piece of mind knowing that it's been done.
