#2 Aux Port hard to turn!! What should I do?
I have a 1991 NA coupe.
I noticed that my front AUX port turns nicely when rotated.
BUT ....... The back one is nearly stuck. (closed)
I have the whole thig torn down except that I dont want to take off the lower intake.
Call me chicken...
I did remove the secondary injectors.
This reveals a hole over the port (right?)
If i put Automatic Transmission fluid down there, like i did on my engine to loosen the apex seals...
would this loosen the port rotation over time too?
You see, I can get the actuator off, and its fine, but I CANT get the actuator arm on the intake (the part that is hard to turn) off. Its held on with a bolt, (which comes off) and a screw (whic thretens to strip out).
How do I loosen this port up?!!!!!
Please reply here AND send an email to my pager if you have an answer PLEASE.
I HATE having this car apart, its making me nervous.
