No need for back seats, any normal sized person shouldn't even attempt to sit back there, it's way to small, plus that means you gotta move forward and give them room and what not, not worth it, yank them out. Just my .02.

I can't believe the votes are tied...and they've stayed tied, too, for most of the length of time the poll has been open. Weird.

The stock 2+2 weighs 50 lbs more than the 2 seater. But, the 2+2 insurance is about 1/2 as cheap! No kiding.

According to Mazda

GXL 2800 Lbs.

GXL 2+2 2820 Lbs.

So it's like the equivalent of adding 1.14hp

(It takes 1hp to move 17.5 lbs in a S5 and 1hp moves 18.5 lbs. in a S4 --from the 2nd gen archive)

Seats are useful to separate trunk noise

The 2+2 seat and the cargo cover is like seal pretty good. I see a huge difference when i fold it down or remove the cover.

Well, i just took em out. Took about 1.5 hours. Looks VERY clean and nice looking with the original bins.

I'm gonna love saying, "sorry, but my car only seats 2"

The only time I have ever wished for back seats is when I am hanging out somewhere, and there are a couple girls that want a ride somewhere, (like my house =) ) and I have to tell them, either sit on each others lap, or sit on the floor in the back. it just seems kind of ghetto.

I got a way better idea

Cut the seats in half so you only have a seat behind the passenger...Then the other half can be a storage bin! YAY its a perfect world!.... Now to fix the rips in the seat where i took the chain saw to...

Sweet! I just found them on ebay for $76! My wife asked me to get them so the whole family can go drifting!

What baby seat can fit back there? I can't get mine to fit. I like them just so stuff doesn't come flying at me when I hit the brakes.

I pulled my seats out soon as i got the car. It's impossible to fit someone that big back there, and when someone sees 3 people, they thing u can fit 4 and bug the **** out of u to get a ride. **** that.

Anyone interested, i still have my navy blue leather rear seats and seat belts. Comes with everything, but the 4 bolts that hold the folding part of the seat. ( I need the bolts for the grounds for my radio equipment.) Seats are still in great condition. Email me or PM me.

A back seat in any car has one purpose, and it aint gonna happen in that seat.

Don't want stuff to fly at you when you hit the brakes, don't cary stuff back there. Have to cary stuff back there, tie it down. Can't tie it down, sucks to be you.
