ok so my synchro is shot for 3rd gear and for a while now i have just been shifting from 2nd to 4th but it's pissing me off cause when i want to race anyone i can get up to 60 and then i have to shift into 4th which means a total power loss. i have seen a few transmissions from first gen 7's for pretty cheap and i was wondering if this would fit on a second gen eventhough the engines are different. i don't have a whole lot of money and i can't afford to just have it rebuilt right now, acrtually prolly couldn't until next summer. i was thinking maybe just finding a used one would be best. any suggestions?
