1st attempt
I was wondering if I could put the brake master cylinder from my 87 N/A in my 87 turbo II? I took the one out of the N/A and it is exactly the same size and I am pretty sure it has the same numbers on it. Does the diffrence take place inside because on the outside they are exactly the same. What would happen if I installed it? It just wouldn't work? I don't get it? I know it would fit perfectly so whats the prob? I'm going to do this in the moring so anyone that knows there stuff please tell me what the deal is. I'll check the forum before I start tomorrow. So if you know somthing I don't please don't let me screw myself on this one. The master cylinder is broken on my T II thats why I need to swap them.
Thanks in advance
John

Check and read http://www.mazdatrix.com/j-3brake.htm it seems to be aas or abs related. I would say that it neither car had those options, then you should be able to swap them out.

Hailers,
Thanks for not letting me screw myself on this one. That was just the info I needed. I just wanted to say thanks because I needed a reply fast and 32 other dicks looked at this post and said nothing. There will not be a second attempt because it went perfect the first time. I can now not only go, but I can stop too when I want to. I also replaced all the pads so I'm in good shape now.
