I'm driving this 90' N/A while I get my other RX7 engine rebuilt and it won't shut off when I pull the key. When I say it won't shut off, I mean it won't shut off until the fuel pressure drops to where it won't run the car anymore. It seems as though the fuel pump it shutting off like it should but everything thing else continues to run like the key is in the On position. I was thinking it was either a bad ignition switch or alternator but would like a second opinion as I'm at work and don't have the time to tear it down.

 

Probably the ignition switch or relay......Just put it in 5th and put your pb up and dump the clutch.

 

but the question then is every thing still on after the car dies? thats how to get it to stop runing but thers got to be a way to fix it.

No, accesories are also turned off as well with the switch.
