1990 GTU front brake upgrade

What began as a simple clean and paint brake brake caliper project turned into “hey this thing needs brakes”! I went with Stoptech Slotted rotors and HPS /HPB street pads. The car has been updated with 4 piston brake calipers which is a GREAT upgrade as well.. Rear brake update coming soon... The install was simple and strait forward. I removed the calipers and properly cleaned them and checked the boots for any damage ect.. after a good clean and a few coats of Cast Iron color high temp paint, wifey assisted with bleeding the system after reinstall. Be sure to replace the back plates, and also the abutment clips and springs are worth changing... if you’re in there just do it right the first time. After a good break in/bed in I can say that these brakes are awesome! Gotta love the smell of burning off all those manufactures oils....
