So my car has some mismatched fenders and I thought it'd be a good idea to have a crack at painting them.
On with the removal. Jack up the car safely etc. etc.
Mismatched blue fender!
Random 8mm bolts 'securing' fender liner. Including one that went through the harness, but's that's another story!
Three nuts in the front of the fender (one is missing in this pic). Also note there are a couple of bolts that screw into welded nuts. Reach up from underneath to get these.
See the two bolts (lower and upper) that bolt from the bumper / body into the welded nuts in the fender.
The bumper attaches with these bolts on top. Undo most of these and you can move the bumper forward to pull the fender out.
Wiggle the bumper forward.
Some 10mm bolts on the top of the fender.
One bolt into the tab top of fender behind door.
Looking back towards door. Undo this 10mm nut that secures the middle of the fender.
Lol. Couple of 8mm 'fasteners' here.
And with all that the fender should wiggle off easily.
Not that hard really, but I wasn't expecting the extra couple bolts at the front. As always YMMV.
