1988 FD Twin Turbo Swap

Found a 1993 Twin Turbo iin really good shape but i have 88' N/A and i havent looked into see wether the swap would work. Have any of you seen anything like this before? and if you have was it much more difficult than just swapping a Turbo II into it? Thanks for the help!

the tII swap would be cheaper and more easy to do. but are you talking about swapping just the twins onto your n/a motor. if so that sounds like a bad idea most fd guys go single turbo for more power and reliability. + i do even know if that would work.

There is a guy on here running twins in an FC, clean *** car too, I believe he's in Canada.

But like they keep tellin u, it's generally not worth the hassle.

It one of those "If you have to ask..." kind of things. Just mounting the engine into the car requires custom fabrication, then getting it to run is a whole other can of worms, and if you want to retain the sequential turbo function that's at least 3 or 4 cans of worms right there.

But it has been done by a few people, sequential twins and all.

Here's some good reading material:

Good thread. He uses a 13B-RE instead of an REW, but he has FD turbos and somewhere in there has a explanation of how he has them running sequentially:

might be some useful stuff in here too:
