1987 Turbo II Trailing Coil Question???
I am trying to get my Power FC ECU installed using Banzai Instructions and a 2nd Trailing Coil Pack is needed to adapt a 3rd Gen Power FC to make it work on a 2nd Gen TurboII... Now here is my question and forgive me if its to vain or makes no sense just ask and I'll explain better as far as my knowledge here goes... Do all Turbo II Trailing Coil Packs have the big EZ on their Coil with Igniter Label or did some come with AZ??? They look the same from the outside but want to know if AZ & EZ are Compatible or if it even matters... Just Curious Guys...

Hey Banzai,
Doing all your set-up and installation to accommodate the Power FC from a Third Gen into a Second Gen... Here's My situation - I have a First Gen with 1987 TurboII Motor and Tranny, after starting the install process I figured it was going to be fun doing it but I ran into a situation... I got steps 1-6 completed but came to a holt because after searching and trying to compare 1st and 2nd manuals in order to figure out what wire is what and where to make the connections for step 6 then I came to step 7-8 and cannot find them on manuals... Is there any other way of making these connections and if so where and what wire? please and thanks... below are steps 7-8 of your 87-88 install guide on your website...
Connect the 3' unterminated wire on the adapter marked COR to the BROWN wire on the orange connector (X-16 in the FSM Pic # 5) located behind the passenger-side kick panel.
Ensure that you connect the COR wire to the dash harness side not to the engine harness side. This is necessary to trigger the circuit opening relay.
Remove Knock Control Unit. Connect the 3' unterminated wire on the adapter marked KS to the GREY wire located on the Knock Control Unit connector (Bb-21 in FSM Pic # 6).

I guess my questions are
What is the BROWN wire connects to - What does it do?
What is the GRAY wire connects to - What does it do?
am not asking because I doubt of the install process - I ask because am doing this setup on a 1st gen with 2nd gen drivetrain and some wires may not be located where instructions say they are...
