1986 Rx7 Gx?

Hey all new to the board here and I already havea question. I'm currently looking at purchasing a 1986 RX7 GX. My question is what exactly is/was the GX? What options did it have and what not? Any info you guys can give me would be great. Thanks in advance. Oh and yes its a GX not a GXL.

The GX was the luxury model in Canada.

Check the FAQ.

Same options as the US spec Luxury Package found on the 86-87 models. Simular to the options found on the US spec 87.5-88 SE model.

If you look at the sticky threads at the top of this section, it lists the US spec models and their options in one of them (the one that says standard features and options).

well GXL power windows, sunroof, AC, rear wipers, bit heavier due to all the crap, some minor interior additions. What was on the GX?

GS was the base model in Canada, with the GX as a mid-line model. I believe the GX did not have the beefed up suspension and brakes of the GXL (and later Turbo - so four lug rims, single piston front brakes, softer springs and bars, non-auto-adjusting shocks), but did have a lot of the "luxury" features of the GXL - power windows, a/c, power locks, possibly an upgraded standard stereo.
