1986 Rx7 GLX
What would a 1986 Rx7 GLX be worth with a blown engine??
The cars body is in great shape a little tiny rust but not really anything.
Has leather seats, leather door panels, auto sun roof, manual trany, power windows, suspension control, A/C which all this stuff works. Total km is 125000.
Its in the shop at the moment getting the engine looked at but they are saying the rear rotor has no compression. So if thats the case I wanted to sell it but not sure whats its worth.

Sounds almost exactly like my FC. An '86 GXL, leather, sunroof, manual, good body, very little rust, etc. I got mine for a steal at $200. With a blown engine, I wouldn't pay more than $800 for one though.

I paid $950 for effectively the same car, not knowing the engine was blown. Honestly, it depends on what someone will pay.
N/As with blown engines don't have a huge market. If the GLX is the same as the U.S. GXL, then you may do well to part it out. Out of curiousity, how much were you HOPING to get?

Thanks
Hey guys thanks for the price ideas .. Yeah its a GXL not a GLX. But funny thing is the guy repairing the car got the rear rotor back up and running. The cats on the car were plugged and the car put way to much fuel into the engine causing a massive flood. Which caused the rear rotor not to have any compression due to the amount of fuel in it. Well at least I don't have to sell it now .. I put on a racing exhaust system and wow big differents for speed plus gas. Also runs like a dream..
