1986 b13 starting problem help plz
car ran fine got in it this morning and wouldnt start. i did all my checks and found out the fule pump was not running.there was a cut off switch stalled in the car that ran to the lil black box under the steering wheel to the right. i bypassed that and ran a wire to put power to the pump. pump works but still wont start do u think by passing the relay or any of that would cause the injectors not to fire?any help would be great

The cutoff switch was just for this problem.
The car has a tendency to Flood.
The car is flooded.....
Pull the EGI fuse on the engine bay fuse box and roll the car over about 15 seconds.
Replace the fuse and see if it will start.
IF NOT,then pull the plugs and clean them(or put in a fresh set) and pull egi, roll over 15 seconds, put a couple tablespoons of oil in the spark plug holes, roll over about 5 seconds,
Put plugs back in,put egi fuse back in,,and then start it up.
If it was just flooded it should start up.(NO foot on gas).

i did clean the plugs just before start up just to rule that out
i put the cut off switch back in the loop to the pump
the only thing i changed was i bypass that relay{and anything else that might be in that loop}
i was just trying to find out if anything i did affected the injectors or ecu to make it not inject properly?
so im guessing that if the pump is on with the key turned its injecting.
cuz i got spark and air ofc the only thing it could be is too much fuel(i do have fuel in fuel rail) shouldnt the pressure regulator control how much fuel the injectors r getting?
the fuel pump should only run when the car is cranking. most cars have the fuel pump prime on the on switch but not the rx7
most likely flooded. check the power to the pump when cranking.

its got pump power all the time right now when switch is on...thats bad?
so when car is running and key is in on position the pump doesnt run at all?
