Ok wait so all this happened because his WG line came off?? You mean that metal rod that connects from front to back?
Im going to double check mine tomorrow.
Any sugestions on how to make that line not come apart??
I never imagined it could come apart so easily.

No mate, not the metal rod, the vacume line going to the actuator bit of the wastegate.Generally speaking its not that common, I wouldn't worry TOO much, but it is some preventative maintainence you can do though.

Mine didn't melt and yeah stock ones and partly metal, i had a prob with mine comming off because mine was slightly the wrong size ( so I know now anyway) and basically just slipped off even though i felt like it was on there tight... werid stuff I tells ya.

So what ya'll think about bridgeporting a 6-port side plate? im talking doing it to the secondary port not the aux port.
