17" rims?

17" rims? bad idea? will they fit?

on my wifes 96 camry right now. I haven't had a close look, I don't know the offset or tire sidewalls. Will they fit on my vert or is 16 the biggest I can go?

why not? everyone else is doing it!

I have 17s on my TII....just make sure they're the right offset and they should fit fine!

yah i have 17s they fit just fine.. but it all depends on how big of a tirewall you want i guess. my 40mm wall fits fine, I bet you could get away with a 45 or 50 mm wall if you wanted for some reason

ok i take that back, so if you go with 17" rims you will need to make sure to get a 40 mm tire-wall. thanx for clearing that up RETed

the 35, 40, 45 isn't directly millimeters - it's aspect ratio. A 255/45 has a bigger sidewall than a 205/45. Check this page for some workable sizes:
