1600cc injectors and necessary fuel rail mods
I thought the 2nd gen guys with more experience could give me a few pointers here...I'm installing a Cosmo motor in my FD.
The Cosmo (2 rotor) secondary injector rail looks very similar to the FC's fuel rail.
I went to Marren's web page and noticed they had 1680's for $85. Is anyone actually running these injectors and if so, what sort of modifications do you have to make to the fuel rail (if any)?
SR Motorsports lists a fuel rail modification service on their page which has promted me to ask. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I was also curious if the stock secondaries could be taken out to 1600cc's. Thanks in advance.

you can get FC fuel rails from www.k2rd.com that hold 1600cc injectors.
1600cc is the new common size to use for secondarys but you need a full aftermarket ECU such as haltech etc.

I figured they had them...their web page appears to be going through a redesign. Plus, the sold a friend of mine a set of 1600's for his FD and advertised them (or so I heard) as being the wrong impedance. They blew his Power FC. No worries on the computer. I'm fully modded. :-) I'm just trying to make the transition to the Cosmo motor as easy as possible (and less expensive) since the FD motor will be sent out for a complete rebuild and port job. Thanks for the input though!
