Red face 15mm Wheel Spacers made the Wheels go "Thump" Thump" before they went "Squeek"PICS""

Apparently Im having problems with my New Project Kics Wheel spacers (15mm), I had other spacers pictured below to "Eliminate" the Rubbing sound" and it did "A little" But when I put the new Wheel spacers it made matters workse now every time the tire turns it makes a thumping sound..??? how is this do you think i its the "TIEN DRESSMASTERS" cause the springs in the front look aparrenly bigger.. maybe thats why its rubbing.... any thoughts.... answers from any of you guys...?

Throw those pos's away. You need hub centric spacers if you want to do this properly, and safely.

I don't disagree with that, even some of the aftermarket wheels, with proper offset, need hubcentric rings. If he wants to use his current rims, that is his best option.

Why are you using those spacers?
Are you sure they are 15mm?
15mm is like over half an inch!
They don't look like over half an inch in the pic?
If they are true 15mm spacers, the rear lug nuts would fall off - do you have longer studs in the back?

Hmm, you really shouldn't be having those problems with stock TII wheels.

This is probably a dumb question but are you sure all of the lugnuts are tight?

Just a couple of guess', but have you checked your wheel bearings? If you did, how fresh are your tires, maybe they're out of balance or out of round if they're old?

I want to see a picture of the back side of the wheel where it meets the hub. I know this should be really obvious, but people do screw this up... Does the wheel sit flush against the hub?

Also, with the wheel bolted on and the car jacked up so that it's off the ground can you move the wheel in and out at the top and bottom or side to side?

Yeah, check the lugs, then check them again. Then check your studs to see if they are stripped out somewhere. When I sheared a stud I got a thumping sound and had to limp home. So make sure everything is kay and there is no stripping the on studs, because that is bad. And if you're trying to put these new tires on your original studs, it will never happen, you'll have to replace them.

ROLL YOUR FENDER LIPS... Or is that not a big gouge going around the outside edge of your tire? Between your lowering springs, and your spacers pushing the wheels out towards the fender, that might be the source of the other noise. (not the thumping, which was the lugnut noise)
