15 amp fuse keeps blowing any ideas?

Unhappy 15 amp fuse keeps blowing any ideas?

ya it keeps blowing its in the inside of the car and every time it goes out my car dies and won't start and now if i swap one in it goes out this has been happening sence me and kettlman got it running and i think today was the last straw on whatever keeps making it go out like that so if you guys have any ideas plz post i'm looking in a manual on the net but can't find a diagram of the fuse box to find out ant there isn't a cover for it either


i'm trying to get an idea of what it goes to from bottom right it's 3 up and 1 to the right in the fuse box and i'm not sure were it goes yet and i can't find a diagram on the online manual of what it does so ya

put a 20 amp fuse in it and if it blows that put a 30 amp in it and if it blows that theres a short in the circut

i was told that fuse might be the one that controls the fuel pump....not sure and if so how much would a new fuel pump cosy cause i was liiking at the wiring on that today and it seemed fine

wiring means Nothing! if the Fuel pump Go's it go's! you have to TEST IT! no matter how good the wiring looks

thx man i just wish that was all that was wrong but i know theres more there is still tons of work i have to do to get it to stay running

It's probably the 15amp 'motor' fuse. Check the wiring obviously, and then check under the hood to make sure none of the wires on the engine harness have melted/been cut/etc.

ok thx i have been looking i don't see much all the wiring looks a little old but i don't see an probs othere than near the intake manifold there is a tine fuel leak (also need to be worked on) and it drips on a few wires but they don't seem to be exposed to i don't se how that could ground *note the fuel leak is near this semi plastic dish shaped thing between the intake and the engine any ideas on that as well i've been trying to solve this prob for about a day now and the only way i can seem to come up with to get at it is to take the whole manifold off which doesn't sound fun *also note i have no idea what that dish shaped thing is nor have i ever dismantled a fuel enjection system befor so i have almost no idea what im doing

well now i know it's the motor fuse i just wish i could figure out were it was shorting out at ack i can't figure it out
