Talking 13BT Questions, Help A Noob Out!

Hey guys,
I just got my FC shell and I have a problem, it's a shell. So, on an MR2 a full JDM clip swapped into a car runs about $3,200. What can I expect to pay for a 13BT to be dropped into my FC? It's an N/A shell with a transmission. Does the 13B transmission bolt to the 13BT? The names of the motors makes me think yes, but, hell, you never know. A 3S-GE transmission on an MR2 bolts to a 3S-GTE transmission, so, just wondering. What do I need to complete this swap? ECU? Wiring harness? Axles? Tranny, perhaps? Let me know, please! I'm...
...and hi! I'm Badui Musa, 22 years old, and I live in Miami, FL.

The turbo engine will vary in prices depending on it's condition (i.e. if it's rebuilt) and labor. It CAN be bolted to a N/A drivetrain but such a setup is consired, well ... unreliable.

You will probalby pay about $1300 for a long block depending on what series it is. Make sure that you get the same series engine as the car you have. Another words, if you have at 87, make sure you get an engine from an 87-88, it makes the swap much easier.

The drivetrain components for the TII are more stout the the Non-turbo stuff, but the transmission will bolt up if you use the non-turbo flywheel and clutch. If you plan on moding it to much, i would do the complete swap. If you search, you will find much more information on the subject.

would you be putting the engine in yourself? Search around the internet for prices. Read the FAQs; they give a lot of information regarding these things. and in the upper right of this forum, there is a search button that will answer probably all of your questions.
