13bt manifold fit 13b re

I was just curious if the 13bt exhaust manifold will fit on a 13b re engine? Any modifications to bolt it on?

So the 13bt exhaust ports are bigger than the 13b re ports?

The 13b re has the biggest intake ports, then the rew, then 13bt?

The 13b rew has biggest exhaust ports, then 13bt, then 13b re have the smallest exhaust ports?

manifold bolts up
13BRE ahs the biggest runners but ports arent really that big, primary is smaller than a S5 13bt.
13BRE's exhaust sleeve sucks ***, the ports themselves i'd imagine are the same as a S5 turbo motor.

what he said

yeh the exhaust ports on the RE are a bit weird, off to one side and not circular.
Im assuming its to help the twin turbo stock setup.

If I was to rebuild mine, Id port the exhaust. But I have not heard if it been a big restrictor, so will spend money on other things then waist it on that.

We just pull the exhaust sleeves and install turbo sleeves during 13b-re rebuilds.

So would I be able to also reuse my downpipe also, if the mounting kit I use is is same location as the 13bt? I would thinking about saving money on the swap and hopefully being able to reuse the exhaust side of the 13bt.

Cool thanks. I already have lots of the things required to do a 13b re swap. Maybe I'll do it in the future.

Are the 13b re housings better than the s4 or s5 t2 housings? I have 2 pretty decent condition 13bt housings. It would save me some time to swap over housings instead of the exhaust sleeves only
