Who's got rebuild kits? What are they worth? Can I really rebuild my motor without blowing up everything within a 20 mile radius? Anyone in the essex/kent county area in ontario ever rebuilt a motor before and willing to help me? (I'm sure we can work something out for compensation)

since there seem to be NO used long or short block 13b-ts for sale ANYWHERE for a reasonable amount of money, I've decided to rebuild mine... I just hope my one housing and rotor aren't trashed...

 

Try searching before you post, I recommend you have it rebuilt by the pro's though, sounds like your first time.

 

Well I looked at the same project,but decided it was more economical to buy a Mazda re-build.Even assuming that your rotors and housings are in acceptable condition,just to buy apex,side and oil seals plus new springs is over$1000Can.A new housing is~$500Can.
Anyway if you go ahead I can sell you some new Mazda parts cheap.I have new rotors,side seals,springs etc
