try the FSM and FAQ at the top of the forum. atkins rotary makes a rebuild dvd for the 13b but it doesnt cover turbo'ing a NA motor. bumps are forbidden in the tech sections of the forum

id be all for searching but. for one the search program on V-bulletin is horrible and the unreliability of this website makes searching through multiple threads a night mare.

The price range for parts: http://www.mazdatrix.com/

And the FSM is in the FAQ thread at the beginning of this forum and if you can't read how to rebuild one from that, just forget it.

Dude, really its not that hard to search. Find a different forum if you really hate searching so much because if you keep asking questions like this you're gonna here it a lot more anyways heres some links to the fsm's its not a video but its a start.

FSM's In the Faq fwiw

Do all the measurements and make sure your parts are at least re-usable. Since the more parts you gonna have to replace it might be cheaper to have a pro build you a base motor.

Next thing if your serious about this do yourself a favour and get one of these videos.

Atkins

DIY-RE

Oh and a link to a pretty good thread on the parts your gonna need for a rebuild

Rebuild List

More than you need at this point.

thanks for the links. i never said it was hard to search. the search i can deal with its the fact that the forum DB has errors more so often it really makes it difficult to search for anyting and not have to continually start iover. but ill definatley check into getting one of those videos to star my build. after a day of thinking. i believe that im gonna roll around pn my stock motor til it blows(wont be long it smokes like a mother) in the mean time i will start collecting parts for my turbo build. and if i get the motor finished.. then well how much nos CANT a stock 13b take???

4-1/2 hours is nowhere near enough time to even consider bumping, especially for oft-asked questions.

Swapping in a TII (referred to as a 13BT) engine and drivetrain is cheaper and more effective than turboing an n/a 13B engine. Buying a TII is much easier than swapping in a 13BT engine and turbo drivetrain.

As stated, Atkins and I believe Rotary Aviation both have rotary rebuild DVDs. The FSM and to a lesser extent Haynes manuals are also invaluable tools.

The FAQ and archives cover almost any question you could come up with.

mazdatrix also has an excellent 13b rebuild video, i watched it and it shows exactly what you need. The dudes doing the rebuild are kinda hard to understand sometimes cuz they're Aussie but other than that they have almost everything you need.

Oh, they dont tell you how to remove and put the engine back in ur car but a haynes manual can tell you how to do that. Haynes manual is like 20 bucks at autozone or mazdatrix or w/e you can get one.
