No they have mounts in a similar location as the FC. With that it mind, you can use your stock mounts (even though I would say upgrade) with some brackets that you can get from www.banzairacing.net. If you have any other questions about a 13B-RE swap, pm me. L8ter.

Dude, seriously, are you trying to confuse him??

Stock mounts will NOT bolt up. You can make the driver's side work by welding on some additional "tabs", but the passenger side will more or less have to be fabbed completely or bought.

read this:
http://fc3spro.com/TECH/SWAP/COSMO/13b-re.html

Banzai and SMP sell mounts if you prefer not to fab them. This is the easiest way to get the RE into an FC -- drop it in, bolt it up... Then let the real work begin.

Why wouldn't the stock mounts work? It's the braket that needs to be fabbed or bought. Even in the banzai pictures you can see they used a second gen. engine mount with their brakets.

Theres soem mkisunderstanding in thsi thread. The fc mountign points are used but they do not mate directly tot he RE block. The brackets are needed.

Yeah, obviously there is some confusion between the rubber mounts and the brackets. The rubber mounts are interchangable (assuming you fab or buy the same type of brackets). The metal brackets are NOT interchangeable and will have to be fabbed or bought.

Obviously I should have clarified my post a bit... Problem is many folks say motor mounts and use the terms interchangeably to mean the rubber mounts or the motor brackets. Who knows what the "official" term is...
